TREATMENT FOR ADIPOSE (FAT) DISORDERS
There are four main Fat Disorders:

Depending on the results of a physical therapy evaluation, Physical Therapy treatment may include Combined Decongestive Therapy that consists of Manual Lymph Drainage, Compression, Skin Care, Exercise, Education and Home Management. It may also include treatment and education for joint protection, postural correction, fibrosis massage techniques, compression garment recommendations, gait training, energy conservation, pain management, and therapeutic exercise. You may be referred to pain management physicians, integrative physicians, plastic or cosmetic surgeons, orthopedic physicians, nutritional coaches and mental health experts who recognize and treat fat disorders.
Manual Lymph Drainage and Fibrosis Massage for maintenance is available after Physical Therapy discharge.
